Hemsley House is just about a mile from the Manchester end of the M602. At the end of the M602 continue on the dual carriageway until tou see Sainsburys. TURN LEFT. Carry on until you meet a T junction at the Salford Royal Infirmary. TURN LEFT. Hemsley House is on the LHS about 300 yards away.


From the North the M602 (jn12 on M60) is probably much faster than the East Lancs Road (jn14) with its traffic lights, but if you do come in on the East Lancs the Crescent is dual carriageway as you pass Hemsley House on the right, so pass it, turn right, turn right into the side street, right again and then left.

If you approach Manchester from the M62 (either West or East) then get on to the M602.

The M56 / M60 approach from the South gives an option of exiting at Junction 7 on the M60 if you know your way past Manchester United's football ground (Old Trafford!) and Salford Quays via the swing bridge.

Members using the A6 or A67 / M67 from the South-East can use the Mancunian Way to get quicklyacross Manchester Centre.

There is space for 60 cars at the rear of the building. The entrances are just BEFORE and just AFTER Hemsley House. An overflow car park is available in the University Car Park beyond and behind Hemsley House.
